There has been a low turn up for students’ admission at the Islamic University in Uganda(IUIU) since institutions of learning higher learning reopen on Monday,1 November 2021.
At its Kampala campus in Kibuli, the admissions officer Mr. Ramadhan Kato revealed that very few students had reached out for admission and attributed this to the pandemic.
“The turnup is still low perhaps because of the pandemic but since it is still ongoing, we hope that it will increase…,” he said.
He nevertheless says that law students have taken the highest number of admissions.
“Law students are the most so far. They are over 500 and they are still coming in…,” he said.
