Several Ugandans are over the sky after President Yoweri Museveni opened up the country a few hours ago.
Before this, Ugandans had urged the president to ignore covid-19 experts who had suggested that it would be best not to reopen the economy following the rise in covid-19 cases.
In his previous presidential address, he mentioned that the economy would be fully opened up on 1st January 2022.
Ugandans who have gone through the two years of Covid-19 showed discomfort.
They asked him to rebuff the National Covid-19 Taskforce and Ministry of Health with experts, the proposal for delaying the full reopening of other sectors due to increasing cases of the pandemic.
The president opened the economy a few hours ago while addressing the nation this Friday at 8:00 pm.
