Former students of Tororo Girls School visited their former school yesterday 19th march 2022 to honour the month of women and empower the girl child.
These met most of the students at the school and got the chance to share with them alot about their careers, dos and don’ts in life as well as have fun with them.
“You should follow your dreams and not let anything or anyone stop you,” Mary, a lawyer by profession, advised the students.
Students were pleased with the visit, referring it to a golden chance that will encourage them to read harder.
“I have really had a good time in my life since I have got a chance to interact with Mrs. Rita a journalist by profession. She has shared with me the different advantages of the course which will make me put in more efforts,” said Sandra, one of the students.
The Head Mistress(HM) Mrs.Wataba K. Helen promised to groom the young ladies to the best levels that suit the university environment and the global working world.
The old students took to the floor, dances that excited the young girls. They were only limited by those “go-down-low” and “twerk-twerk” dance moves that defied the law of age and respect. The fun that the two groups had may never get off their minds. Some of them wished for more interactions.
“We wish we could have more interactions and time with these students,” One of the Old Girls said.
