The title race for the woman Super League continues to get interesting with three teams in tight contest , not relaxing on their efforts to get the trophy at the end of the season.
Table leaders Kampala Queens, She Corporates and Uganda Martyrs WFC treat every game as a final with no intention of dropping points.
As match day 15 got underway, all the three teams were looking forward to collecting maximum points, to stay in the title race.
Uganda martyrs who are two points below the table leaders travelled to face Kawempe Muslims WFC at Kawempe grounds. They beat them whom from home by 3:1 goals at grounds in the first half of the season.
Uganda Martyrs WFC earned a hard fought 2:1 win against Tooro queens over the weekend at Buhinga stadium. A late entertaining winning goal came from a right winger Catherine Nagadya who netted after a direct free kick.
The Kiddawalime Girls (Uganda martyrs) have not lost in their last seven games, won 5 and drawn 2. They are looking forward to extending their form by defeating the struggling Kawempe Muslim Ladies.
The other game on Wednesday will see table leaders Kampala Queens face 4th placed UCU Lady Cardinals who recently lost back to back games to Olila High School WFC and she corporates respectively. The game will be very difficult for the hosts as Hassifah Nassuna on the side of the UCU will be looking for 100th league goal in her career.
Second placed She Corporates on the other hand will take on Olila High School. Olila will hope leading goal scorer Grace Aluka with 9 goals continue with her brilliant run. She Corporates are tied on the same points (29) with Kampala Queens FC but with different goal difference with only four games left to end the season.
