In a bid to avoid inconveniences students go through during examination time as a result of uncleared tuition balances, the Islamic university in Uganda(IUIU) guild has started the trust fund from which students can borrow money to cater for remaining balances.
The scheme was officially launched under the theme enable all students graduate and this was during the 2021/2022 guild day celebrations at the Kibuli campus on Friday last week.
The affected students shall apply to the guild office for the funds that will submit their request to the dean of students in order to have the funds.
Ismail Yiga, the Kampala campus guild president said that the scheme has been launched to address to some of the challenges students go through as a result of failure for clear tuition balances of time.
