Songbird Lydia Jazmine has added a voice on why most artists in Kampala are in support of King Saha( real name Mansur Ssemanda) who is contesting for the post of President in the upcoming Uganda Musicians Association(UMA) elections that are scheduled for May 6th.
During an interview, the “Kapeesa” singer hinted that there is much going on in UMA and she would love to see a positive change.
“Honestly, we would love to see change in UMA. I am a registered member but no one has ever contacted me about any opportunity or money that has come in to help us. So things about UMA, do not ask me, that’s why I want change.” She said.
Jazmine rushed to heap praise on King Saha saying that he is friendly and can talk to all people, unlike his opponent.
“King Saha is the person who called and talked to me. He asked me for his support and besides this, we have met on several shows and talked.” She said.
King Saha is contesting against Cindy Sanyu (real name Cinderella Sanyu) and Lord Bitemu( real name Ramadhan Mutebi)
