Jinja City was on 28th August lit up buy joy and ululations as King Paul Media, a film company that has a film school based in the city, celebrated its 14 years of existence at the Innovation Village.
The celebrations were fired up by performances from artists from Eastern Uganda, cultural troops, and a red carpet experience.
The red carpet moment gave revelers a warm welcome as they geared up for entertainment from artists such as Larry the Violinist, Isah K, Paron Vanexx, Dorah De Don, Skool Feez, Lady Fifi, Roger Matt Baraka, and many more.
During the event, KPM Entertainment boss Mr. Ssabata Paul thanked his workers and sponsors for having trusted and supported him all through.
“Trust is a glue that keeps relationships together and I knew that I have fulfilled my promise of being transparent with my investors, partners, and employees. I promise to move forward with all my promises and vows. For me, Trust has two parts, one is the ability to trust others and the other is trustworthy. For a successful business, it is important to take both sides together. I have the most reliable, trustworthy, and predictable employees who keep their interests separate. The best way to do things is through a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of the employee, which can be achieved by the performance of winning demand and the right combination of the compassionate side for the employees,” he said.
The event ended with screenings of The company’s prestigious series dubbed “Kadaga”.
Short films such as “Froggy T and Bunnie”, “Embarrassment”, “Freaking Out” and “Stay Home” were also screened.
