Nabbanja noted that despite her busy schedule, she had to attend the function, adding that even the President was aware of her presence.
“The Mufti and all Muslims are aware of the government support towards your programmes, which I don’t want to mention now but I will present a report about this project for his contributions,” she promised.

Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda praised and described the prime Minister as a revolutionary and patriotic leader when it comes to service delivery, thanking the president for appointing her in that position.
“We beseech Almighty God to grant you more courage and wisdom as you execute national duties,” Mubaje prayed.
Mubaje commended the People of Bunyoro- Toro for exhibiting the Interreligious spirit of living and working together with people of other religious denominations.
He explained that despite our different religious beliefs there is need to work together as humans in fields of education, health and sanitation among others.
He explained that Bunyoro-Tooro is among the 10 Muslim regions that were created for the purpose of rallying Muslims towards tangible development.
However, despite starting well, it hit a snag because of inexperienced leaders who lost trucks and that necessitated the Mufti’s Office to bring back senior leaders who are now serving on contracts.
Mubaje used the said occasion to inform the congregants about the planned UMSC activities such as the renovation of the national headquarters that has been completed.
“The President has pledged to give us support so pass over our reminder of the pledge, we shall utilize it in other activities,” he asked the prime minister. The Mufti pledged Shillings 10 million towards the project on behalf of UMSC headquarters.
