Kadongo Kamu singer Hassan Ndugga Bamweyana has vowed to give aid to the orphans of fallen artist Sayid Kabuye who died on October 1, following an accident that took Lady Grace’s life and left Ronald Alimpa with serious injuries.
Sayid was a famous guitarist and solo singer who was good at stage performance. Though his name does not roar to the ears of many, he is known to many Kadongo Kamu singers. The singer was buried on Sunday 3, October 2022 in Namuyumba.
Among those who attended his burial was Hassan Ndugga who vowed to help the three children of the deceased.
“Kabuye was a strong man with a strong heart. Although many people undermined him because he was so small, they didn’t know that he had a family like this one. He had two wives and three children and these have to be taken care of. We, therefore, have to do all means to see that the children are taken care of,” he said.
He asked all other musicians who have worked with the fallen singer to raise to the rescue of the children.
“I want to request all artists in Uganda, especially those who knew the deceased to gather their strengths and help these children,” he added.
